For engagement session you'll receive anywhere from 50-100 stunning images.
I deliver a quality gallery full of variety ranging from photos that show off the gorgeous nature landscapes with you both as the focal point all the way to the small, sweet, intricate details like your engagement ring!
I always recommend starting your session about at sunrise or 2 hours before sunset! This soft, glowy light is the most flattering and is absolutely magical!! I'll always send you my opinion on when we should start based on your location!! Time's differ between the beach and a more woodsy/ garden location!
You'll receive your full gallery of edited photos within 2 weeks of your session date! Wanna know a secret? I also send sneak peeks within 48 hours of your session, so you don't have to wait the full 2 weeks before seeing some of your gorgeous images!
Of course!! I love including your sweet pets! We can start off the session with these images, and possibly have a family member or friend join us so they can care for your pet!! We usually only need about 10-15 minutes with your fur baby to get really sweet images!!
No worries at all!! We can simply reschedule our session for another date!! I keep a number of dates available just for this kind of situation! We can keep on eye on the weather up till your session date and decide what we should do anywhere from 12-72 hours in advance!
Because our weekends are typically full of weddings and family time, I only do engagement sessions on weekdays, Monday, Tuesday, & Thursdays!! Weekend dates are available subject to availability and an additional fee.
Many couples like to do photos 6 months-1 year before the wedding for Save-the-Dates and a wedding website. Others like to wait until closer to the date. If you're unsure, find a season that is easier on your schedule and allows for cooler weather!!
Your engagement session is the PERFECT time to go ahead and get that hair and makeup trial done before the wedding day so you can see how it looks in person and in photos!! However, it is not a must. I'd recommend doing what works best for YOU.
No worries at all!! Honestly, most people aren't!! Including myself without direction!! ;) I'll be there to help guide you along every step of the way! My couples are always surprised to find out how easy and fun the photo-taking process is!! We always have a great time together!
